Stanley Clarke is a four-time Grammy Award winner and a defining figure in jazz and jazz fusion. A pioneer of both acoustic and electric bass, he helped establish the instrument as a leading melodic voice and is widely regarded as a living legend with a career spanning more than 50 years.
In addition to performing, he is an accomplished composer, producer, conductor, and film composer, and a founding member of the influential group Return to Forever. His impact has been recognized with numerous honors, including being named an NEA Jazz Master.
Alongside his artistic work, Clarke is deeply committed to mentoring and supporting young musicians and remains creatively active to this day.
