BETWEEN JAZZ AND DREAM
The Lisa Wilhelm Quartet, featuring singer Mareike Riegert, blends lyrical jazz and dreamy pop with melancholic melodies and rich, nuanced compositions. Founded in 2020 at HMDK Stuttgart, the quartet has released two albums, “Potpourri - quoted not stolen” and “So Close” (2025), the latter expanded with strings and additional vocals. The members—drummer/composer Lisa Wilhelm, pianists Moritz Langmaier and Lukas Wögler, and bassist Franz Blumenthal—bring international experience and diverse influences from jazz, pop, and classical music, creating subtle, elegant, and emotionally compelling performances.

The JAZZ OPEN STAGES have long since become an integral part of the festival: an admission-free concerts at attractive venues in the middle of the city, which is co-sponsored by the City of Stuttgart. The stages are located in the StadtPalais - Museum for Stuttgart, in the Music Pavilion around the Schlossplatz, in the St. Eberhard Cathedral Church, as well as in the Art Museum and are played on several days.
