Hardened by countless performances across Germany, the five horn players and two drummers of LFB also perform internationally, including in France, Russia, England, and New Orleans. Known for their signature “New Orleans block party” vibe, they effortlessly blend Afrobeat, Latin grooves, funk, and traditional second-line music, bringing energy, joy, and infectious rhythms to every performance.

The JAZZ OPEN STAGES have long since become an integral part of the festival: an admission-free concerts at attractive venues in the middle of the city, which is co-sponsored by the City of Stuttgart. The stages are located in the StadtPalais - Museum for Stuttgart, in the Music Pavilion around the Schlossplatz, in the St. Eberhard Cathedral Church, as well as in the Art Museum and are played on several days.
