OF SHADOWS AND LIGHT
Odd Beholder is the electro-wave/indie pop project of Swiss musician Daniela Weinmann, exploring themes of alienation, escapism, emancipation, and digital life. The project has released three albums and multiple EPs, combining dark pop with personal and social reflections. Weinmann frequently collaborates on film projects and podcasts, and her music has been featured in festivals, international tours, and films like Marcel Gisler’s “Mario”. She is also a co-founder of Music Declares Emergency Switzerland and directed a 2023 documentary on sustainability in Swiss festivals.

The JAZZ OPEN STAGES have long since become an integral part of the festival: an admission-free concerts at attractive venues in the middle of the city, which is co-sponsored by the City of Stuttgart. The stages are located in the StadtPalais - Museum for Stuttgart, in the Music Pavilion around the Schlossplatz, in the St. Eberhard Cathedral Church, as well as in the Art Museum and are played on several days.
