Rasha Nahas is a versatile Palestinian artist, blending songwriting, performance, and storytelling in a unique way. Her albums Desert (2021) and Amrat (2023) mix Arabic, traditional, and modern influences, reflecting personal experiences and cultural themes. With international tours, work in film and theater, and appearances in series like We Are Lady Parts, she has emerged as a prominent voice in today’s music scene and was honored with the Bertha Foundation Artivism Award.

The JAZZ OPEN STAGES have long since become an integral part of the festival: an admission-free concerts at attractive venues in the middle of the city, which is co-sponsored by the City of Stuttgart. The stages are located in the StadtPalais - Museum for Stuttgart, in the Music Pavilion around the Schlossplatz, in the St. Eberhard Cathedral Church, as well as in the Art Museum and are played on several days.
